Megacubo blog

Eight articles, each answering a question that came up. What changed in the latest version, what changes when you use Megacubo on Linux, how to read the project's older pages — plus the reasons to use the player, the shortcut list, the adult content lock, how to help the project and why live TV is transforming. Every claim with a source and a date.

Frequently asked questions

How many articles are there?

Eight: three about the current version — what changed in 17.7.0, what to expect on Linux and how to read the project's older pages — and five written earlier and kept up to date. Text without a question behind it becomes noise, and the section already publishes the full documentation in the guides and support trees.

Where are the complete release notes?

The section has a release-notes page with the current publication, the install notes per system and a link to the project's releases, which are the original source — with the files and the history of more than 170 published versions.

Are the articles from the earlier years still here?

Yes, dated. Nothing was deleted: where a subject already has a current page, the older address answers with that page, so a link someone saved keeps working.
